Welcome to the MYM Insider... where you'll be provided with all the tools to take your marketing to the next level. The MYM Insider is designed to give you ongoing marketing training, PLUS access to professional feedback on the marketing materials you produce. To get the most out of your membership, you'll want to participate in as many conference calls as possible (all calls are recorded if you can't make them live) and submit all of your marketing materials for professional review.

Below is a summary of the feedback and training tools available to you as an MYM Insider Member:

Feedback Resources 
Professional Marketing Review
Members may submit marketing pieces to be reviewed either on the Tuesday Morning Ad Clinic by Rich Harshaw, or individually by MYM staff consultants. You'll be given recommendations on how to improve the headlines, layout, content flow, etc. The number of submissions allowed depends on the level of membership. Any type of marketing piece may be submitted (print ads, radio/tv ads, scripts, brochures, websites, etc.). Turnaround time for review is generally 1 to 3 days unless the ad is scheduled to be covered on a TMAC call. Ad submissions are only posted online if they are reviewed on the TMAC call.

Platinum: 3 reviews per month

Gold: 1 review per month

Tuesday Morning Ad Clinic

This is the centerpiece of the MYM Insider Program. MYM Founder Rich Harshaw will review 6 to 10 marketing pieces submitted by members, including print ads, radio commercials, tv commercials, brochures, scripts, signs/billboards, websites, etc. We post and email a list of the ads that will be covered on a given call, and then critique those pieces on the call. All suggestions are captured and posted on the website with the ads. When available, revised ads are posted so members can see the progression. All archives are available online. Calls generally cover 6 to 10 marketing pieces.

Conference Calls 

The Innovation Hour

We spend an hour (or more!) talking about how to improve the Inside Reality of your company and/or innovative marketing approaches. This is a fun and educational way to jumpstart your creativity and innovate your business beyond your competitors.

One Thursday per month · 9 am Central time · Call duration - 60 to 90 minutes

Power Strategy Call

The Power Strategy call is a member-directed call—topics are submitted ahead of time by members to discuss any marketing aspects that are timely and relevant to them. Appropriate topics include innovation, MYM methodology, tactical marketing, sales issues, etc.

1 Thursday per month · 9:00 am Central time · Call duration – 60 to 90 minutes
Strategic Marketing
Strategic marketing is the content (messaging) or your marketing; this call will focus on MYM Methodology to help members write better marketing for any situation. Topics include various aspects of the Marketing Equation, hot buttons, Educational Spectrum, headline writing, and so forth.

1 Friday per month · 9:00 am Central time · Call duration - 60 to 90 minutes
Tactical Marketing
Strategic marketing is the execution of your strategic plan. This call will focus on tactical execution, including topics like budgeting, media evaluation, working with media reps, graphic design, testing, ad tracking, yellow pages strategies, radio & tv strategies, direct mail, and so forth.

Special content is frequently created and posted online for MYM Insider members only. Or in some cases, longer versions of articles posted for public viewing are available online to members. Access to all previously recorded conference calls and back issues of the MYM Insider Monthly Mailer are also available online.
